The Glock®-compatible 80% frame-and-jig kits provide an affordable alternative to buying a Glock® handgun. Under federal law, you may legally fabricate a firearm for personal use (state laws vary, see below). These 80% kits make the process easy enough for anybody to complete without gunsmithing knowledge or special tools. Kits are available which work with most Gen3 series of Glock® pistols.
Frames are available in black, OD green, and desert tan.
Fabricating your frame to make it a functional firearm requires a Dremel, hand drill, hand files, and a simple vise to secure the assembly in place while you work. Written and visual instructions are provided to assist with the fabrication steps, which involve:
This takes approximately 30 minutes to one hour. Once finished, your Glock®-compatible frame will interface with your chosen parts kit, or any factory or aftermarket Glock® parts you choose to use to build your custom handgun. Your 80% frame comes with a stainless steel locking block rail system and stainless steel rear rail module for installing the trigger housing mechanism, slide, and barrel. Also included is a blank serialization plate if you prefer (or are required by state law) to serialize your finished firearm.
Contrary to federal law, some states have either restricted or banned the sale, transfer, and ownership of 80% lowers, firearm blanks, and other gun parts. Because of these restrictions, we cannot ship our products to certain states. Please confirm whether your state is restricted on our Shipping & Return Policy before placing an order. We cannot fulfill orders to restricted states if placed.
