Affordable, quality pistol slide assemblies for your 1911 build.

Build, not buy: That's an affordable way to own a custom 1911. Available here are the required components to complete your build truly "from scratch." Each 80% frame is configured as a Government (5") or Commander (4.25") model. Next, select your 1911 parts kit. Advantages of The 80% 1911 Bundle

The 80% frame-and-jig bundle provides the tools required for fabricating your own 1911 frame without the need to buy one from a gun dealer or online FFL. Since the 1911's frame is the only component of the pistol considered a firearm, the 80% frame -- a non-functioning unit that's legal but not regulated by the ATF -- allows you to skip the NICS check, dealer fees, transfer fees, and extra taxes paid to the government. Completing the frame is a simple process involving little more than some household tools and about one to two hours' time. Using the jig, you'll cut the frame's slide rails and barrel seat, then drill the pin holes for installing your parts kit.

Contrary to federal law, some states have either restricted or banned the sale, transfer, and ownership of 80% lowers, firearm blanks, and other gun parts. Because of these restrictions, we cannot ship our products to certain states. Please confirm whether your state is restricted on our Shipping & Return Policy before placing an order. We cannot fulfill orders to restricted states if placed.

Jig and Frame: What's Included

  • (1) 80% frame (forged aluminum)
  • Jig for drilling and cutting frame
  • Carbide-bladed cutting car
  • Drill bits for drilling frame
  • Written machining instructions

Tools You Need

  • Tabletop vise for securing jig
  • Handheld drill for drilling pin holes
  • Black marker for marking cutting car starting depth

No measuring devices or other equipment is required. The cutting car includes an adjustment knob that'll measure your cuts on the frame. All you need to do is mark which adjustment notch you start your cuts on, then simply follow the instructions. No gunsmithing or other experience is required! Once your frame is completed, you can install your parts kit and hit the range.

Your custom 1911 build awaits.
