If you're like a lot of other shooters out there, the 9mm caliber is your favorite round for handguns. But you understand and respect the timelessness the 1911 has been bringing to the world of handguns for almost a century now. Now you can build for yourself a combination of your favorite small arms caliber and one of the proven-to-be best handguns in history with a 9mm version of the 80% 1911 tactical frame by Stealth Arms.
Stealth Arms makes their frames out of 7075 aluminum instead of steel for a couple reasons. One, an aluminum frame is much easier to make the finishing cuts and holes on than a steel one. And two, your completed frame will be about 60% lighter than a steel one, which means it'll be more comfortable for you to carry than a heavier, steel framed 1911. Plus, it's got a tactical rail for mounting a tac light or laser underneath.
The best part is that since this is an 80% 1911 frame and not a fully completed one, completing the frame yourself from a legality standpoint makes you the "manufacturer," and thus there's no FFL or additional paperwork required to have it sent right to your door.
