We're excited to introduce our new, first-of-its-kind AR-9 80 percent lower. Forget spending money on wobbly conversion blocks and mismatched parts to convert your AR-15 to 9mm.
This lower represents the easiest way to build a custom AR pistol or pistol-caliber carbine. The AR-9 lower is even compatible with factory and aftermarket Glock magazines out of the box!
AR-9 80 Percent Lower Features
This 80 percent lower ships with a proprietary Glock magazine release and 9mm ejector. All you need to complete the AR-9 lower is an 80 lower jig. See below for jig and parts compatibility.
- Accepts Glock magazines
- Compatible with any 80 lower jig
- One-piece, integrated trigger guard
- Magazine release and ejector
- Competition mag well ramps for faster reloading
- Backed by Lifetime Warranty
- Proudly made in the U.S.A.
- Caliber: 9x19mm Parabellum
- Construction: 6061 T6 Billet Aluminum
- Buffer Fitment: Mil-spec (1.146")
- Finish: Type III Hardcoat Anodized
Completing your pistol build with this lower is so easy because it works with existing black rifle parts on the market! The AR-9 80% lower is compatible with the following components:
- Upper Receiver: AR-15 w/ 9mm barrel
- Gas System: None
- Lower Parts Kit: AR-15
- Buffer System: AR-15/AR-9
- Magazine: Glock
Because the AR-9 functions with a blowback recoil system (not gas), you don't need to install a piston or gas system. All you need is a G-9 Hybrid or equivalent bolt carrier group.
Bolt Carrier Group
To use a standard lower parts kit and AR-15 hammer, install a bolt carrrier group that is ramped (illustrated right). The G-9 Hybrid is ramped. We also recommend choosing an H3 or Pistol Buffer (5 to 8 oz.) with a standard buffer spring and tube to ensure optimal cycling and functionality.
No FFL is required to purchase this lower receiver. This 80 percent lower is not considered a firearm and is compliant with the Gun Control Act of 1968. It is also not classified as a firearm as defined in 18 U.S.C. 921(a)(3).
