Easy Jig Gen 2 with Tooling (AR15/AR9)

The Easy Jig Gen 2 (AR15/AR9)

The Easy Jig Gen 2 is arguably the most popular 80 lower jig on the market! If you're a first-time builder with no experience putting together an AR-15 or AR-9, this is the jig for you. The Gen 2 is one of the cheapest 80 lower jigs you'll find, making it a top choice for shooters who are building on a budget.

Even though it's affordable and simple, the Gen 2 is far from cheap. The Easy Jig Gen 2 boasts tons of big upgrades over its original design, the Easy Jig Gen 1:

Easy Jig Gen 2's Top Features

  • Completes an 80 percent lower in 30 minutes or less
  • 100% compatible with all AR-15 and AR-9 80 percent lowers
  • Includes necessary router plate, tooling, bits, and instructions
  • Centers and aligns your 80 percent lower for you
  • No-contact plates prevent tool-on-jig contact and mistakes
  • Depth guides measure for you (no measuring tools required)
  • Does not require a drill press, only a basic hand drill is needed

What's included:

    • (1) 3/8" drill bit
    • (1) 5/32" drill bit
    • (1) 21/64" drill bit
    • (1) 5/16" end mill bit w/ ¼" router shake
    • (1) Router plate
    • Video tutorial
    • Written instructions

Note: One replacement end mill bit is recommended for every (3) 80% lowers you complete.

No drill press required

This is a huge advantage! Normally, a drill press would be required to drill an 80 percent lower. Drill presses are big, heavy, and expensive - most of us don't own one. The Easy Jig Gen 2 takes care of this by using convenient drill depth guides and reinforced guide plates.

Those guides and plates help center your drill bit, allowing you to safely and precisely finish your lower with a hand drill. No drill press required!

Sets up in minutes

The Easy Jig Gen 2 makes setup a breeze. Just follow these five steps to get started:

  1. Attach the router plate to your router.
  2. Attach the side plates to the top plate.
  3. Secure the lower in the jig.
  4. Set your bit depth.
  5. Start drilling and milling!

Once set up, swapping lowers takes 10 seconds or less. Switching between AR-9 and AR-15? All you need to do is reverse the side plates. The included instructions will guide you through every step in detail!

Perfect for first-time builders

Once you're set up, completing your 80 percent lower takes about 30 to 45 minutes for first-time builders. Experienced builders can do it in 30 minutes or less!

Because the Easy Jig Gen 2 uses reinforced, no-tough side plates and depth guides, you don't have to measure or calculate anything. All you need to do is keep your drill or router stable. The 80 lower jig will do everything else!

Easy clean-up

No one wants a big mess in the garage or basement. The Easy Jig Gen 2 includes a cool little shop vac attachment, making clean-up a breeze. This also ensures you can keep debris out of your machining area, preventing any mistakes or blemishes from affecting your completed lower.
